Summer project roundup

With autumn in the air now is a good time to reflect on some of our highlights from the summer season. Despite the challenging times we are living through, the DD Team has helped deliver a number of landscape concepts, planning consents and completions for a range of private and public sector clients.

Our highlights include:

Being shortlisted for our concept to redesign Victoria Park, Portsmouth. The project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, seeks to restore the original Victorian features whilst creating modern facilities including a new performance space, hub building and a wild zone complete with education spaces.

We are delighted to see the completion of our care home project in Tetbury for Porthaven Care Homes. Read more.

Our award-winning North Stoneham Park has reached another milestone; planning consent has been granted for a new care village for Cinnamon Care. Set within the restored parkland landscape, the design includes a day spa, a new arboretum set within the existing woodland, outdoor dining terraces and private gardens.

Work continues on the monitoring and construction of Adanac Business Park for Oceanic Estates, with the phase 1 development nearing completion. This will form a key commercial hub for Southampton and the design seeks to wrap the new buildings with ecological planting including wildflower meadows, planted swales and native tree planting that connect to the adjacent woodland habitats.

We have recently been appointed by RegenCo to produce a landscape-led masterplan design to improve the public realm and green infrastructure for the town of Whitehill & Bordon. The Northern Gateway project will form part of Bordon Eco Town delivery. We are currently supporting the pre-application planning and look forward to working on this ambitious regeneration project.

Lastly, we would like to thank everybody for your continued support and please do feel free to contact us for an informal review.
