We have been exploring the use of Sketchup/TwinMotion to produce a variety of realistic and eye catching visualisations. This can help to envisage a scheme in a new perspective, gain a more in depth grasp of details and to further understand the spaces we design. Realising the need to innovate as designers, the use of the Software’s extensive features and rendering abilities can assist us in communicating ideas to clients and key stakeholders.

Below are some examples of our renders constructed through exploring the use of Sketchup/TwinMotion.

This tool has helped us to understand the design progression for the following landscapes:

• Pool Design for a Private Garden
• Bespoke Natural Equipped Play
• Carehome Communal Gardens
• Residential Plot Planting

As well as creating renders from a still image, these outputs can be expanded to include site flythroughs, panoramas and nighttime renders to enhance lighting effects.
