The reserved matters application follows the outline parameters plan approval for 1,100 new homes, retail / offices, primary education and elderly care. Offsite improvements to the public open space provision will include an extension to Lakeside Country Park and enhanced outdoor sports facilities.

Appointed by Highwood Group and working closely with HGP Architects, Odyssey and WYG, the Phase 1 masterplan includes the restoration of ‘Avenue Park’, influenced by Capability Brown, which dates back to the 17th Century.  The parkland landscape will form a new community park and has been sensitively designed to improve pedestrian and cycle links, natural equipped play areas, SuDS and enhanced wildlife corridors.

We are delighted to have been involved in this first stage of the development and are now working towards delivery of the phase 2 submission.

Works are due to start on site in August 2017.
